(DAAD) provides scholarships for international students willing to study for postgraduate courses in Germany. The idea is to support young professionals from developing countries with further specialized studies.
Masters or Ph.D.

The scholarships include monthly payments for health, insurance, and travel allowance.
Duration: Graduate 12 to 24 months and 36 months for Ph.D.
- Works either for a public authority or a state or private company in a developing country.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in a related subject.
- Academic degrees should normally not be more than six years old.
Language: A 6-month German language course: DSH 2 or TestDaF 4 at the beginning of the study course; In addition, German language proficiency at B1 level is highly recommended.
- For courses in English: IELTS or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, 80 internets based)
